Every weekend i want to throw everything we own away. the "throw my hands up in the air, let's sell everything we own (or in laziness just give it away) and get on a jet plane" attitude. it runs deep in my veins. and this weekend the opposite occurred. runs to costco have left our home bursting with diapers, and frozen meatballs, and extra -so many extra, though entirely necessary- things. life can be entirely cluttered, especially with young children.
I came across this quote by Andy Warhol, "I never read, i just look at pictures." Which to me is so calming. Picking up my camera and framing the world as i see it is like a soothing balm. I love looking at the pictures i'm creating with my young family. Framing husband in my lens as he pushes our double stroller makes my mind slow down and things start to sort themselves almost imperceptibly. life can be such a hustle. i like it best when i can sort it out sans words and make pictures.
and with that here are images from the last week. no more words are needed.
